Medical transcription usually demands training. There are colleges who can train someone who studies full time in half a year or less. You must have at least a basic understanding of the medical language. There are a lot of health problem and drugs out there, and you need to build a good knowledge of them in rank to be proficient at medical transcription. Once you have taken coaching, you could seek a job through a hospital, private clinic, or even medical systems and other companies that handle medical notes.

Legal transcription is not quite as popular for work based from home, but it is still possible to find jobs. You will usually require coaching for law related transcription as well, and most home based jobs are attainable to those with old history in a public courtroom setting or law firm.
